The daring performance, part of Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik’s Culture Youth Foundation celebrations, shattered past records and earned the team a prize of ₹25 lakh. Led by coach Vivek Kochrekar, the Govindas showcased discipline, strength, and unity, setting a new global benchmark in Janmashtami festivities. For years, Jai Jawan Govinda Pathak dominated Dahi Handi records, but in 2025, Konkan Nagar claimed the spotlight with their world record-breaking feat that left Mumbai and the nation in awe.

For years, the Jai Jawan Govinda Pathak dominated headlines with their record-breaking feats. In 2012, they secured a Guinness World Record with a nine-level, 43.79-foot pyramid. A decade later, in 2022, they returned with a jaw-dropping 50-foot pyramid, where a 14-year-old Govinda smashed the handi in a climactic finish.
But in 2025, Konkan Nagar Govinda Pathak claimed the spotlight with their world record climb, rewriting the history of Dahi Handi in Mumbai.
Dahi Handi: Tradition Meets Record-Breaking Feats
