Kapil Sharma’s Canada Cafe Firing Linked to Salman Khan Invite, Claims Bishnoi Gang Member

Kapil Sharma’s Canada cafe firing has now taken a startling turn, with a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claiming the attack was linked to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s visit. This marks the second firing incident at the comedian’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey within just a few weeks.
According to details accessed by Bharat Details, a gangster identified as Harry Boxer — associated with the Bishnoi gang — released an audio clip warning that anyone who collaborates with Salman Khan would be “shot in the chest.” The gang member claimed that Kapil Sharma invited Salman Khan to inaugurate his cafe, which, according to him, provoked the attack.
The viral audio further alleged that both the first firing in July and the latest incident were “punishments” for the comedian’s association with the actor. Salman Khan was seen as the first guest in Season 3 of Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, during which he was reportedly invited to the cafe’s inauguration.

In the most recent attack, unidentified gunmen opened fire at Kap’s Cafe in Surrey on Thursday. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Authorities in Canada have not yet released full details, but a joint investigation with Indian agencies is underway to verify the gang’s involvement. Security at the cafe has since been tightened.

This is not the first time Salman Khan’s name has been linked to violent incidents abroad. In 2024, shots were fired outside Punjabi singer AP Dhillon’s Vancouver home, weeks after he featured the actor in a music video. The Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility for that threat as well.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has maintained hostility toward Salman Khan for decades, rooted in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. Members of the Bishnoi community consider the blackbuck sacred, and the gang has repeatedly issued death threats to the actor. Last year, Salman Khan’s Mumbai home was targeted in a firing incident believed to be linked to the same rivalry.
Neither Kapil Sharma nor Salman Khan has commented on the latest development. Authorities are now focusing on tracing the origin of the threatening audio and identifying those directly involved in the Canada shootings.
