Incident Details
According to Bareilly police, multiple rounds of firing were reported around 4:30 am outside the residence. Eyewitness accounts suggest at least three to four gunshots were fired by unidentified assailants before they fled the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Authorities immediately cordoned off the area and deployed additional security forces around Disha Patani’s house to prevent any further disturbance.
Social Media Threat
Shortly after the firing, a threatening message in Hindi surfaced on social media, claiming responsibility for the attack. The post, allegedly from gangster Rohit Godara and linked to the Goldy Brar group, named two men — Virendra Charan and Mahendra Saran — and warned the film industry against insulting Hindu saints Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj.

The message read that the firing was carried out as a warning after actress Disha Patani allegedly disrespected revered saints and Sanatan Dharma. It further cautioned that “next time no one in the house will be spared” if such acts are repeated, extending the threat to the wider Bollywood community.
Police are currently working to verify the authenticity of the post and track down the individuals behind it.

Disha Patani’s younger sister, Khushboo Patani, has also spoken to authorities regarding the situation. While no official statement has been released from the family, police sources confirmed they are in regular touch with them to ensure their safety.
Growing Concerns Over Bollywood Security
