Nothing Phone 1 Specifications Tipped, Initial Availability Using The Invite System
- Nothing Phone 1 will enable 45W rapid wired charging as well as 15W wireless charging.
Nothing Phone 1’s specifications has leaked online. The anticipated phone is rumored to have a 120Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. Additionally, it is said that the Nothing Phone 1 will include at least 128GB of internal storage. Along with the rumored features, Nothing has unveiled that its Phone 1 will only be accessible by invitation in an effort to keep the market’s initial equilibrium. It seems to be comparable to how the OnePlus One was initially available only through invitations.

Nothing Phone 1 Specifications – (Expected)
According to Sharma’s information, the Nothing Phone 1 will use Android 12 and have a 120Hz OLED display. Separately, Brar has hinted that the phone will feature a Samsung E4 AMOLED display with HDR10+ compatibility and TUV Rheinland certification.
Sharma stated that the Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, combined with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, will run the Nothing Phone 1 in addition to the display. The Geekbench website, which Sharma quoted in a different tweet, also lists the chipset and RAM specifications.
The Nothing Phone 1 is also reported to contain a 4,500mAh or 5,000mAh battery, 45W rapid charging, and dual back cameras with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging would also be included. The phone is also rumoured to feature NFC.
According to Brar, the Nothing Phone 1 would support both reverse wireless charging at 5W and 15W, both based on the Qi standard. For wired charging, there would also be USB PD3.0/PPS.
Nothing Phone 1 invite system
Nothing has posted an in-depth YouTube video explaining the Phone 1’s design and confirming that it is constructed of recyclable aluminium. The business announced that the smartphone will only be available through an invite system toward the end of the video.
The invite-system strategy that Carl Pei, co-founder and CEO of Nothing, had initially embraced during his time at OnePlus for initially meeting demand for the OnePlus One, has effectively been adopted by Nothing.
We have two options: either we start selling right now, or we wait until we have a large number of phones to sell. We choose the latter option because we wanted at least some of these things to be in people’s hands.
The invites might initially be extended to early backers and those who are “in the early community,” before being extended to additional consumers, according to Akis Evangelidis, Head of Marketing and Co-Founder of Nothing.
“While this time we have like more data to kind of forecast more accurately, the stakes are much bigger so you cannot go bananas and like any sort of traditional brands and kind of produce millions and millions of smartphones,” said Evangelidis.
Alongside helping to meet the demand, the invite system would enable Nothing to create some hype among customers.
The Nothing Phone 1’s exact release date has not yet been disclosed. Before the scheduled official launch on July 12 we can anticipate them.
