Earlier this year, both parties were asked to appear before the court on May 25, but efforts to resolve their issues outside the courtroom failed. While Sunita attended hearings regularly, Govinda reportedly skipped multiple notices, raising further speculation about his commitment to the proceedings.

In a recent vlog, Sunita Ahuja was seen visiting the Mahalaxmi temple, where she became emotional while reflecting on her journey with Govinda. With tears in her eyes, she recalled,
“When I met Govinda, I prayed to the Goddess that I should marry him and live a happy life. The Goddess granted all my desires—she even blessed me with two kids.”
Despite the pain, she expressed her faith in divine justice, saying,
“All truths of life are not simple; there are highs and lows. Whoever is trying to destroy my home, Maa Kaali will not forgive them.”
Her words indicated deep emotional turmoil and reliance on faith during these challenging times.
Allegations of an Affair Surface
Reports suggest that trouble in their marriage escalated earlier in 2024. The couple allegedly separated in February, unable to reconcile differences in lifestyle and personal choices. Adding to the strain were rumors of Govinda’s closeness with a 30-year-old Marathi actress, which reportedly created further distance between him and Sunita.
